Micah Phillips-Plant, LMHC
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Oral Roberts University and began my career working in a long-term treatment facility, supporting children and teens diagnosed with Reactive Attachment Disorder. I later pursued a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, where I spent five years working in the Manhattan Criminal Courts for a program offering alternatives to bail and incarceration.
While I valued the opportunity to help individuals during difficult moments, I realized I wanted to work more deeply with clients over the long term. This led me to pursue a second Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling, also at John Jay College. Since then, I’ve been practicing as a psychotherapist, specializing in anxiety, interpersonal challenges, and ADHD.
